Techniques to “fingerprint” construction materials – the focus of R06B – features portable devices that can test specific construction materials in real time and right at a project site; saving state departments of transportation and other agencies time and money usually lost due a lack of real-time testing results.
SHRP2 Solutions represent a comprehensive and data-driven set of products, procedures, and best practices meant to help transportation agencies save time, money, and lives through innovative solutions to common transportation challenges.
SHRP2 resulted from a partnership between the Federal Highway Administration, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, and the Transportation Research Board.
