AASHTO re:source is a technical service program offered by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials that provides services and tools through three major programs: the Laboratory Assessment Program, the Proficiency Sample Program, and the AASHTO Accreditation Program.
The Technical Exchange began in 2017 as a way to connect those in the construction materials testing industry and to share knowledge and best practices.
The 2024 TechEx conference is a one-of-a-kind ideal professional development event for laboratory managers, quality managers, supervisors, technicians, and engineers. Nearly 30 information sessions are on tap at next year’s event, covering a wide array of topics – including everything from asphalt mixtures to employee engagement – within the construction material testing industry.
The conference also offers an ideal setting for attendees to exchange information, expand their professional network, while engaging with peers in workshops and open-forum settings. Check out the 2023 event program for an idea of what to expect in 2024 and visit www.aashtoresource.org/events for more details as they become available.
Attendees may also earn Professional Development Hours, subject to their state’s licensing board approval, to maintain certifications. A full TechEx participant could earn up to 15.5 PDHs by participating in the conference sessions from March 18 through March 21.
