AASHTO Innovation Management identifies and champions the implementation of a select few “ready-to-use” innovations, products, or processes annually that are likely to yield benefits to the users. To date, more than 40 transportation agency innovations have been adopted by AASHTO members through this program, including now-common advances such as e-Construction, the Tow Plow, Plans on Demand, and the ARC-GIS online-based geospatial transportation mapping platform known as UPLAN.
