The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials recently issued a new bridge preservation guide to help in extending structure life and reducing maintenance costs.
AASHTO said the “Guide to Bridge Preservation Actions, 1st Edition,” intends to offer guidance on selecting cost-effective preservation, maintenance, and treatment actions to extend the service life of bridges, while estimating the budgets required for optimizing structural performance.
AASHTO added that this new publication is available as a PDF Download, either in single-user, five-user, or 10- user format.
