Hosted by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, this in-person meeting brings together state department of transportation leaders, managers, practitioners, and other transportation professionals from across the public, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors.
The event offers a dynamic forum for sharing safety practices, discussing emerging strategies, and fostering collaboration across the transportation community.
AASHTO said sessions at the 2026 Safety Summit in Connecticut will include highway work zone safety, road user behavior, safe system strategies, micromobility, and post-crash care.
