The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials has released a new video to highlight the work of its Committee on Transportation Communications, known as TransComm.
Made up of a diverse and dynamic group of communication professionals from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia, TransComm’s objective is to promote excellence in communications through the exchange of ideas and educational programming. TransComm also advises other AASHTO committees on communications issues and shares best practices via a regular webinar series as well as through presentations at its annual meeting.
Hosted by a different state department of transportation each year, the TransComm annual meeting brings together public relations professionals, consultant partners, representatives of the U.S. Department of Transportation and others interested in all modes of transportation communication issues.
