“We’ve had a hard time keeping [bike lane] flex posts in place [and] we think there is a role for timber in our product inventory, as it is much less expensive than concrete barricades,” explained Will Handsfield, DDOT’s bicycle program specialist, in the video. “It is also within our own resources to create and fabricate these [timber] barricades.”
