AASHTO Journal - Video: AASHTO Publication Offerings for August

This is the second installment in a new monthly video series compiled by AASHTO Publications – in conjunction with Transportation TV – that provides a roughly two-minute update on recent American Association of State Highway and Transportation book releases and news.

Included in this month’s video are highlights of the seventh edition of the AASHTO Roadway Lighting Design Guide, which has been revised to reflect current practices in roadway lighting. This guide provides a general overview of lighting systems from the point-of-view of state DOTs and recommends minimum design parameters.

Another is the third of three 2019 updates for its Standard Specifications for Transportation Materials and Methods of Sampling and Testing and AASHTO Provisional Standards reference compendium – a publication typically referred to as the “Materials Standards” guide. AASHTO Publications issued the third update to its “Materials Standards” guide on July 31.
