The BATIC Institute: An AASHTO Center for Excellence will host an hour-long webinar on October 16 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST to explore the “common themes” within transportation infrastructure funding/financing efforts enacted or proposed by state legislatures across the country.
State officials – including Scott Bennett, director of the Arkansas Department of Transportation, who also serves as secretary/treasurer of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials – will provide insight on how to “make the case” for transportation investment, highlighting key elements of recent transportation funding/financing packages approved by their respective state legislatures.
The BATIC Institute noted that this webinar will be particularly useful to legislative staff and transportation professionals involved in transportation funding initiatives at both the state and local level.
