AASHTO Seeks Resilience & Sustainability Program Manager

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, an equal-opportunity employer, is seeking to hire a program manager for resilience and sustainability – a full-time position located at its Washington, D.C., headquarters.

This job position manages technical and policy activities related to transportation resilience and sustainability – monitoring, gathering, synthesizing, and communicating information on resilience and sustainability policy, legislative, regulatory, and technical matters to AASHTO membership. The program manager for resilience and sustainability also assists with the review of proposed federal action and policy development related to resilience and sustainability.

Candidates for this position are required to have a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, with evidence of a higher degree of professional development, such as a postgraduate education, desirable. Applicants should also have a minimum of six to eight years of progressively responsible, professional experience preferably with trade and membership associations.

An advanced degree in the area of transportation policy, engineering or related area is an acceptable substitute for the required years of professional experience.
