AASHTO Seeks Product Evaluation Program Manager

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, an equal opportunity employer, seeks to hire a Program Manager-Transportation Product Evaluation & Audit Solutions; a full-time position in the organization’s Washington, D.C., office.

This program manager position oversees the administration and management of tasks associated with the AASHTO Product Evaluation & Audit Solutions audit programs, which ensure that state department of transportation manufacturing facilities are building products in accordance with AASHTO and ASTM standards under a robust quality control/quality management system.

As needed, the program manager also supports the AASHTO Committee on Materials and Pavements or COMP, a committee responsible for developing and maintaining AASHTO standards and specifications utilized for many of the AASHTO product evaluation and audit programs.

Candidates for this position should have a minimum of seven years of experience with project or process management, specifically in contract and contractor management, with previous job positions demonstrating professional growth and increasing responsibility.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related technical or scientific field is required, while evidence of a higher degree of professional development is desirable. Candidates must also be able to travel approximately 20 percent of the year for work related to this program manager’s duties.
