The Materials Standards contain specifications, test methods, and provisional standards commonly used in the construction of highway facilities.

AASHTO said its third and final 2019 update to its Material Standards publication includes five new and 25 revised standards, along with updates to sections on geotechnical and bituminous materials and mixtures.

The web-based Materials Standards are available as a one-year online subscription with current subscribers automatically receiving access to all updates published during the subscription period, as well as access to recent past editions, with changes between editions highlighted for ease of reference. Customers can purchase a subscription via the online AASHTO Store at https://store.transportation.org, searching by Item Code HM-WB.

Customers may purchase either a single-user license or choose among several multiple-user license options, which offer deeper price discounts, including: a 25 percent for a two-user license; a 33 percent discount for a three-user license; and a nearly 40 percent discount for a 25-user license.
