AASHTO Recruiting For Two Job Openings

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials – an equal opportunity employer – is recruiting for two positions, both full-time, within the organization’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The first opening is a Program Manager for Traffic Engineering and Maintenance – a position that manages a range of activities to support various AASHTO engineering committees, technical service programs or TSPs, and associated technical committees as directed by the Program Director for Project Delivery.

Applicants for this position should have about eight years of professional project management experience. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related technical or scientific field is required, though a similar level of experience may substitute for education. Evidence of a higher degree and/or professional registration is desired, AASHTO noted.

The second AASHTO job opening is for a Customer Success Associate Manager for Transportation Products – a position that help oversee the administration and management of tasks associated with the AASHTO Product Evaluation & Audit Solutions product evaluation and manufacturing audit programs, in addition to assisting with educational assistance and utilization of the program.

Applicants for this position should have about six years of experience with project or program management, with previous positions demonstrating professional growth and increasing responsibility.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related technical or scientific field is required, though a similar level of experience may substitute for education. Evidence of a higher degree of professional development is desirable. Previous experience in training and educational material development is required, with experience in marketing and outreach desired.
