Participants will hear directly from state leaders about strategies to overcome institutional barriers, align priorities, and deliver greater value through collaboration.
  • Driving Economic Growth Through Land-Use Planning: Brought to attendees by Bentley Systems, this session examines successful approaches to leveraging transportation infrastructure to foster regional growth and guide development decisions. Panelists will discuss how transportation projects contribute to economic growth, support freight movement, and contribute to community planning. Attendees will gain insights into coordinating transportation planning with economic development.
  • Centering State DOT Actions on Safety: Analysis Throughout the Roadway Lifecycle: Brought to attendees by RS&H, this session will address the use of non-traditional data sources and analysis methods to improve safety at different stages of the roadway lifecycle. Panelists will present example projects that demonstrate practical approaches to data-driven safety decisions using effective and efficient tools and methods.
  • Building a Resilient Transportation System: Brought to attendees by Jacobs, this session covers public education, resilience vs. risk management, system risk mapping, and design strategies. The session also includes state case studies and actionable insights.
