The National Operations Center of Excellence will be publishing 38 transportation systems management and operations or TSMO-focused case studies over the next several months, including studies of 16 different state departments of transportation TSMO projects as well as those of 10 different city, county, and regional transportation agencies.
NOCoE – a partnership of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, the Institute for Transportation Engineers, and ITS America, with support from the Federal Highway Administration – said it will feature two case studies every week throughout the summer, first in its newsletter and then via its Twitter and LinkedIn social media channels.
“We previously published case studies on the eight winners and runners-up of the 2nd annual NOCoE TSMO Awards,” noted Patrick Son, NOCoE’s managing director. “But there’s so much more great work going on around the country that, for the second year in a row, we will publish case studies on every TSMO award submission.”
