TSA Introduces STRIDE Resource Mobile Application

The Transportation Security Administration recently unveiled the Surface Transportation Resource for Information, Directives & E-Sources or STRIDE mobile application to provide users with instant, mobile access to a comprehensive library of U.S. Department of Homeland Security-approved security resources; part of a broader federal effort to further improve protections for the nation’s surface transportation systems.

The TSA said that the STRIDE mobile app – available free of charge for download on both Google Play and the App Store – is intended for all surface transportation stakeholders and offers easy download and sharing options.

The agency said that the key benefits of STRIDE are:

  • Instant access: The ability to quickly browse a digital library of security awareness guides, TSA program smart sheets, training videos, reference materials, and security directives all in one place.
  • User-friendly interface: Intuitive menus and organized categories, including direct links to relevant TSA programs and modal-specific counterterrorism guides, make resource navigation easier.
  • Up-to-date information: Access the latest security directives and awareness materials to stay informed about current threats and best practices.
  • Surface transportation focused: All resources are tailored to the needs of surface transportation stakeholders to help enhance vigilance, readiness, and security awareness.
