AASHTO Journal - Posters Sought for 2026 AASHTO Safety Summit

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials is seeking poster submissions for the 2026 AASHTO Safety Summit and Peer Exchange to be held September 28-30 in Hartford, CT. Submissions can be made by clicking here and are due by July 17.

AASHTO said the Safety Summit poster session showcases noteworthy examples from state departments of transportation of integrating safety and the “Safe Systems Approach” in transportation decisions throughout the project lifecycle and across the agency.

State DOTs and their partners are invited to submit posters demonstrating successful safety-related projects, methods, initiatives, and research implementation activities. The organization added that the poster display offers an opportunity to share noteworthy and innovative experiences with transportation professionals from public, private, academic, and non-profit participants.

Posters will formally be presented at the AASHTO Safety Summit on September 28.
