AASHTO’s Human Resource Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective administration and delivery of human resource support and services to approximately 150 employees across two office locations. As a senior representative of AASHTO’s HR team, the primary focus areas of the Human Resource Manager position include recruitment, benefits administration, and workforce support functions.
Applicants for this position should have a minimum of 10 years of full-scale human resource experience, with previous positions demonstrating professional growth supporting organizations in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree in human resources, business or organization management, or another closely related field highly desired.
Candidates must also have strong oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to conduct thorough research for employee-related needs, along with the ability to use Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, as well as other HR applications and systems.
