The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials recently published its 2025 Annual Report, available online and in printed format.

The Annual Report details the key work conducted by AASHTO across the calendar year, supporting state departments of transportation through policy development, technical services, establishment of engineering standards, and promotion of innovation.
By establishing key technical standards, while creating and supporting policy recommendations, AASHTO and its members enable the U.S. transportation system to serve as the key enabler for a “higher purpose” – to provide mobility and access for all via the safest system possible so as to deliver the best quality of life and most robust economic opportunities for everyone in every community across the country.
