Available online and in print, the 2025 edition of the Fall AASHTO Magazine – unveiled at the group’s Annual Meeting held in Salt Lake City November 17-20 – includes a wide array of stories from the state department of transportation community.
The Fall AASHTO Magazine provides a behind-the-scenes look at the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s bus rapid transit or BRT operation in Hartford, CT; the winners of the 2025 AASHTO Bridge Challenge competition; and a profile of Russell McMurry, commissioner of the Georgia Department of Transportation and AASHTO’s 2025-2026 president.
An additional feature story in the magazine highlighted the challenges and opportunities ahead as Congress begins work on the next surface transportation funding reauthorization bill.
