AASHTOWare Workshop at AASHTO 2025 Safety Summit

The 2025 AASHTO Safety Summit & Peer Exchange, hosted by AASHTO’s Committee on Safety October 27–30 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, will feature a special workshop on how to use AASHTOWare Safety to make safety performance-based project design decisions.

Since 1985, AASHTOWare – a division of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials – has been the premier source of innovative technology solutions for the transportation community.

During the workshop – to be held October 29 from 5:20 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – attendees will walk through multiple safety scenarios with their peer states using AASHTOWare Safety by Numetric.

[Editor’s note: AASHTOWare forged a safety software alliance with Numetric in 2020 to deliver a comprehensive toolset in the traffic safety analytics space built on a “software-as-a-service” or SaaS platform.]

Workshop attendees – who need to bring their own computer – will learn from Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Georgia Department of Transportation personnel how they use AASHTOWare Safety to make safety performance-based project design decisions; a valuable learning opportunity for organizations considering the adoption of the Alternative Design Tool or other AASHTOWare Safety applications.

To learn more about the workshop, please contact Ryan Fragapane, AASHTOWare product director, at rfragapane@aashto.org.
