Since 1985, AASHTOWare – a division of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials – has been the premier source of innovative technology solutions for the transportation community.
Asset Tracker is a new AASHTOWare Project “software as a service” application meant to connect agency assets with pay item data stored in the AASHTOWare Project unified database – helping fill gaps in the digital workflow of a highway construction project by connecting design, estimation, letting, and construction via a common asset identification number.
AASHTOWare Project’s Asset Tracker application provides state transportation agencies with four key capabilities: to integrate asset information directly with asset inventories and geospatial systems; streamline infrastructure inspections and automatically capture “as-built” values; track pay items and quantities at the asset level; and import design data in a variety of formats.
“It’s about bridging silos by providing an avenue for engineers to connect with transportation infrastructure projects across the design, construction, and maintenance phases of a their lifecycle,” explained Brian Korschgen, product director for AASHTOWare.
