The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials recently issued 2023 Interim Revisions for its “LRFD Bridge Construction Specifications, 4th Edition.”

The 2023 Interim Revisions to the “AASHTO LRFD Bridge Construction Specifications, 4th Edition” guidebook – originally published in 2017 – include a complete update of Section 29, Concrete Anchors, making the specifications consistent with those found in the “AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, 9th Edition.”
AASHTO noted that it is necessary to have these 2023 Interim Revisions, as well as the 2020 and 2022 Interim Revisions, to have all current LRFD (short for “load and resistance factor design) bridge construction specification information on hand.
