The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, an equal-opportunity employer, is seeking to fill a full-time position with its AASHTO re:source technical service program, headquartered in Frederick, MD.

AASHTO re:source provides services and tools through three major programs: the Laboratory Assessment Program, the Proficiency Sample Program, and the AASHTO Accreditation Program.
The job opening is for Quality Analyst; a position that acts as a point of contact between customer laboratories, specifiers, assessment and proficiency sample providers, and the AASHTO Accreditation Program.
Duties include reviewing assessment reports; reviewing and monitoring corrective action reports; monitoring proficiency testing results; conducting annual accreditation reviews; and preparing accreditation documentation for review by the AASHTO Accreditation Program manager.
The Quality Analyst also prepares and revises AASHTO Accreditation Program quality system policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
Candidates for this position should have at least one year of quality related experience, such as an auditing experience, as well as a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or equivalent experience. Candidates should also have a broad understanding of AASHTO R18 and relevant AASHTO and ASTM standards and must also have a valid operator level driver’s license.
