Clarisse Bernardes Coble, AASHTO’s human resource director, explained that AASHTO attends the yearly ‘Career in Motions’ fair to promote the many opportunities available within the mobility industry as a whole, focusing particularly on jobs openings among state departments of transportation and other AASHTO members.

That included promoting the AASHTO Jobs Board to transportation-related firms and job seekers as an employment search resource.

AASHTO also staffed several booths at the TRB Exhibit Hall to highlight the range of products and services it provides to the transportation sector – from publication and engineering software to laboratory accreditation for construction materials through AASHTO re:source.

Key offerings AASHTO underscored at the 2023 TRB Exhibit Hall included:

  • The new AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design Version 3.0 software package that supports day-to-day operations of public and private pavement design engineers.
  • The expanded availability of the data generated by its National Transportation Product Evaluation Program or NTPEP, which evaluates materials, products, and devices of common interest for use in highway and bridge construction.
