The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials offers a unique opportunity for mid-level state transportation professionals with between eight and 15 years of experience working in the areas of engineering or transportation policy: the Transportation Management Fellowship program.
This program gives participants access to the nation’s top engineers, policy-makers, academics, and other transportation professionals working in the nation’s capital via a one-year stint at AASHTO’s Washington D.C. headquarters.
Fellows assist AASHTO in a myriad of ways including conducting research on policy and engineering related issues–while building their own professional network of contacts that will become an invaluable resource throughout their careers.
