The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials has officially opened the registration portal for the group’s annual Washington Briefing meeting – held virtually in 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
AASHTO’s Washington Briefing serves as an opportunity for participants to hear from state departments of transportation leaders and industry executives on pressing policy matters.
Highlighting legislative developments in all modes of transportation, the virtual edition of this longstanding forum for 2021 will focus on state DOT partnerships with the new Biden-Harris administration and Congress to ensure major investment action for infrastructure.
Discussions will focus on COVID-19 response, infrastructure stimulus funding, and surface transportation reauthorization. AASHTO’s virtual Washington Briefing will feature also host key stakeholder groups, including Congressional members and staff, federal executive branch leaders, trade associations, and members of the media.
