FHWA Offering $60M in ATCMTD Grant Funding

The Federal Highway Administration published a notice of funding opportunity on July 6 making up to $60 million worth of Advanced Transportation and Congestion Management Technologies Deployment or ATCMTD program grants – created by the 2015 Fixing America’s Surface Transportation or FAST Act – available to fund new technologies that improve transportation efficiency and safety.

State departments of transportation, local governments, transit agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, and other eligible entities are invited to apply for this new round of ATCMTD grants, FHWA noted.
