Three Elected to AASHTO MTAP Steering Committee

Three new members were elected to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Council on Public Transportation’s  Multi-State Transit Technical Assistance Program or MTAP steering committee.

MTAP helps to bring real-life, practical solutions to transit problems on topics as varied as state funding procedures, transit asset management, financial management, vehicle procurement, rural inter-city service development, and Americans with Disability Act or ADA compliance.

The three new members of MTAP’s steering committee are:

  • Wiley Brooks, senior transportation planner with the Alabama Department of Transportation
  • Kristin Haar, compliance and training officer at the Iowa Department of Transportation
  • Kaitlyn McClanahan, public transit grants administration supervisor for the Tennessee Department of Transportation
