The November installment of the monthly video series compiled by AASHTO Publications – in conjunction with Transportation TV – provides a nearly two-minute update on recent American Association of State Highway and Transportation book releases and news.

The highlight for this month is the publication of new guidelines for steel bridge fabrication jointly published by AASHTO and the National Steel Bridge Alliance. The Steel Bridge Fabrication QC/QA Guidelines, G4.1, supersede the existing S4.1 guidelines and provide information complementary to applicable welding codes and American Institute of Steel Construction or AISC standards.

Also newly available this month from AASHTO Publications is a hardcopy print version of Guidelines for Geometric Design of Low-Volume Roads, 2^nd edition, originally issued in digital format only in late May.
